Very nice.  Did Agnes put on a little weight between seeing her at the library and visiting her house?

I had pushed through life with ease; I was smart and easy to get along with.
I had done my honors degree in a science course while working at a nursery. The plant kind.
I'd saved up a bit of money in the time, and now I knew I needed something new. I craved it.

Life was becoming slow and repetitive.
I needed to break out of the cycle of normality and create a new life.
I entertained thoughts of life fruit, of death fish; of immortality.
I wondered - could I do it? Could anyone do it?

The more I wondered, the more I became convinced of the possibility.
But what would it prove?
That I could become immortal?
And what would be the fun in being a lonely immortal?
No, I wouldn't just become immortal. I'd create an immortal dynasty.
Each first born of every generation would join me in this quest.

My name is Mercury Copernicus.

I'm a fairly simple man. I love the outdoors, to garden and to cook. I can get over-emotional at times, but that's just the way I am.

My first step towards my dream was to find a place to start afresh.
Sunset Valley. A small town, far away from all the buzz of normal life.
I knew that I needed to find work. I decided to take my love of gardening and turn it into something that could make me money.
I headed to the City Hall and applied as a gardener.

It had been a while since I'd worked at the plant nursery, so I headed to the library to read up on certain flora. I had just got into my book, when I saw and intriguing woman walk past.

I began to think. I could use another person in my life. A friend, or a love.
I asked a man nearby who the woman was, and where I could find her.

When I turned up to her house, she was in her nightgown. Although her hair was odd, she certainly was a pretty lady.
Her name was Agnes Crumplebottom.
We got talking, and soon one thing lead to another. Agnes was now my girlfriend.

She asked me to stay over at her house for the night. How could I ever say no?

But there was one thing that Agnes didn't know about me - something I tried to keep hidden...

Many people take kleptomania the wrong way. I don't steal because I want to steal. I steal because of uncontrollable impulses I get.
The next day I admitted to Agnes that I had stolen her curtains, but she was more than accepting.

As my way for apologising for the theft, I took Agnes out for tea at the bistro.

And then I got down on one knee...

Agnes jumped up and down, and said yes. She had to rush home as she was running on no sleep, but I knew I could wait. I literally had all the time in the world.

The next day I called Agnes over. I didn't have much money, but I had enough to make a small garden of roses.
We said our vows and exchanged rings.

I welcomed Agnes Copernicus into my life.

Edit: I just moved the first post to this comment so that I could leave the first post as a chapter guide.

Thanks Pam.
Yes she had.
There was actually a Sim day between the visits in my game, so I was rather surprised to see her weight change.

Yeah, I caught that too. Funny how that happens sometimes. Agnes the Saddlebagness.

Nice start on your story Alexandria_.

Thank you  :)

I put Agnes on the treadmill, and she lost the weight, but it's three days later now and she still hasn't put it back on. Is that normal?

Well, now that she's under your control it's probably not surprising because you're limiting what she eats.

Ah, I see.
I got a picture of Holly Alto with a lot of weight as well. It's strange to see the most well-known characters at different weights.

I guess Agnes let herself go a bit when she fell in love. I am looking forward to reading more.

Agnes wanted to celebrate our new found love with a make-over. She kept her quirky black style, but changed her hair. I didn't tell her, but I was extremely glad to see her old hair go.

We sold Agnes' car and ended up raking in $108,000 to build our new dream home with.

Seeing as Agnes is already a level 6 in cooking, she taught me how to cook. We started simple with Autumn Salad.

While we ate, I decided that it was time to reveal my plan to her.
I took a deep breath, and dove in to explanation.
I told her that I wanted something new, and we could create it together.

She seemed intrigued by the idea, and agreed to give it a go. She also suggested that we document the dynasty through portraits and sculptures. She's full of surprises, this one!

After dinner, she whispered in my ear "How soon did you want to start this dynasty?". I took a hint, and chimes were heard in the wind.

I think she's more attractive than Morgana, which is who I went for in my other attempt.
I've never really paid much attention to Agnes, but I'm glad I went with her this time.

Great start!  Are you naming them after the planets? I was curious about your sims name and if you had a theme?
